Neutralyze Acne Face Wash is a daily gel cleanser for acne-prone skin, built around DuoClear™, our 2% salicylic acid + 1% mandelic acid system. Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that is oil-soluble, so it reaches into the pore to deep-clean it, help clear acne and breakouts, and help prevent new ones. Mandelic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) with a larger molecule, so it gently exfoliates the surface. It controls oil and cleans thoroughly without leaving skin feeling tight or stripped. Use it on your face, back and body. A 5 oz tube for oily, combination and acne-prone skin. DUOCLEAR™ 2% SALICYLIC + 1% MANDELIC, EXPLAINED
DuoClear™ is the Neutralyze salicylic + mandelic acid system, shared by our Acne Face Wash, Exfoliating Pads and Renewal Complex. In a cleanser, the two acids split the work. Salicylic acid (BHA) is oil-soluble, so it gets into the pore to deep-clean it, cut through excess oil and help clear the buildup behind blackheads and breakouts. Mandelic acid (AHA) is a large-molecule acid, so it gently exfoliates the surface for skin that feels smoother after every wash.

How to Use:
- Patch-test first: for the first 3 days, use a small amount on one or two small areas.
- Wash: wet your face or body, squeeze a small amount into your hand and massage it into skin for 1–2 minutes.
- Rinse and dry: rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry. Let skin dry fully before applying other Neutralyze products.
- Start slow: use once a day, then build to one to three times a day as needed. If dryness or irritation occurs, cut back.

How is this different from a regular face wash?
A regular cleanser only removes dirt and oil from the surface. Neutralyze Acne Face Wash adds DuoClear™: salicylic acid to deep-clean pores and help clear breakouts, and mandelic acid to gently exfoliate, so cleansing and exfoliating happen in one step.
Can I use it on back and body acne?
Yes. Acne Face Wash is made for face, back and body. Use it in the shower the same way you would on your face.
What should I use after it?
